A unique bouquet of flowers for her majesty the Queen.
Commissioned by Mark Champkins on behalf of the science museum to commemorate the opening of their new communications gallery Setbox and Paperpoms UK collaborated to create the most outstanding unique bouquet of flowers especially made for the Queen and to be presented to her majesty on the day of the opening.
The design of the bouquet was to be completely hand crafted and created using origami style craft work with selected materials to tie in with means of communication which was used in the second world war.
We were provided with rare vintage ticker tape and punch cards from the museum of which was crafted and combined with fine copper sheet and wire which was also linked to methods of past communication.
The bouquet was received well and reportedly carried back to Windsor Castle by her majesty herself and now resides in the great library.
